Waldon here! I got a job! :D

Of course, it's only three nights a week right now, and only a total of nine hours, but at least it's something. Now that I don't have that worry on my mind, hopefully I'll be able to get my mind back into an art frame. I haven't even touched my art book for at least 2 weeks. I'm ashamed of myself.

So, I'll be working at the library on weeknights, until the other monitor is gone, then I'll be taking over her shifts.

While waiting for the whole job situation to be resolved, I've been playing some XBOX. It's great. I've pretty much worked my way through the entire "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood," as well as unlocking everything in "Soul Calibur V" and beating "Final Fantasy XIII-2."

I was seriously addicted to the new Final Fantasy. I've got both Serah and Noel level 99, with at least 5 classes each maxed, and a level 99 Twilight Odin and level 70 Narasimha, and almost every hidden monster.

I've got my eye on a few of the games at the New Store in town, but my eye is all for now; I don't have nearly enough funds to spare on the games. It sucks. :(

Anyway, I suppose I'll head to bed now. Good night all! :)

Honestly though, my head really hurts. I get these debilitating migraines quite often that are so bad that I would rather shoot myself than continue having a bad head. Junior wants me to go on migraine medication; my mom thinks it's my sinuses; my Nan thinks Tylenol will make me feel better. I don't really know what to do, so for now, I just have to live with it.

Oh. I wouldn't be able to go on migraine medication because getting an appointment with my doctor is like trying to get an audience with the queen. Mom has been trying for almost two months now to get me an appointment, and hasn't been able to get me in yet. My perscription has run out. I can't get in. SO, I have no perscription left. I also doubt my doctor would give me anything for migraines anyway. Apparently she doesn't readily give out anything.

As I believe Junior mentioned, I have lucked into another job this year. Last year was the French camp (I didn't have to apply for that!); this year was a job at the local middle school. I got a call the week before last from a woman with the school board; she was wondering if I would be interested in a job as a teacher's assistant from now until June (well, basically just May and June). I said I was, of course! I would rather work than have to do intersession. (><)

The first step was getting a code of conduct done. I went to the court house, waited a few days, blah blah blah, it came in, I got it. I didn't know that I had to bring it to the RCMP (police), so I just dropped it off at the school board office last Tuesday. Yesterday morning (six days later) they called and told me that it wasn't done. The wait on a code of conduct is abotu ten days. Ten. I can't actually start OFFICIALLY working until that comes in. SO. I messed about with that yesterday and tried to get that done. I went to the police station at 8:45 am. They opened at 9. I went to Nan and Pop's to vent, then went back to the police. I got the forms that I needed, then went home.

Yesterday afternoon, I met with Cody, Daniel, and the lady from the school board to talk about our jobs. (The three of us went to school together, so we're apparently like "brothers and sisters" hehe). Then, I hung out with Junior. :)  Last night, Junior came down to my house and we played Scrabble for two and a half hours. I won.

Skipping to today: While I was in the shower this morning (around 9:20), Mom came in to tell me that someone called for me. I was supposed to meet the guys at the school to learn some stuff about the SMART boards in the classroom... At 8:30. I hadn't gotten the email. Go figure. Needless to say, I hauled arse and hightailed it to the school. I was ready in less than fifteen minutes, and arrived at the school around 9:35. They weren't mad or anything, so it was fine. Today we were just learning a few basic things that we might need to know. Cody and I will get our codes of conduct next week, so we'll be able to get in a class then; Daniel might be starting tomorrow.

I think the lights in school gave me a headache. When I finished up (kick butt hours! I get off by like, 3:30, from Monday to Friday), I went to Junior's with a MASSIVE headache/migraine. He got me a nice, strong cup of coffee, and we hung out for a bit. I picked Brooke up from her friend's, then came back to Mom's. I've been here ever since.

Now I have to go to bed. I have to be up rather early, and my head is killing me, so this is the end! Good night!

- Bre :)

Waldon here! Guess what? I SPEND A LOT OF TIME PLAYING SKYRIM. It seems like almost all of my time is spent on that game xD I love it so much. Breanna MUST be getting sick of me playing it by now :P I've put in at least 300 hours into that game now. I've had about 20 files, all of which have been played through at least halfway through the main quest, and about 5 of which have had a large number of side quest lines done.

Anyways, right now I'm playing as a Nord sword and shield user. I love the Nords, I can identify. Canadian power, eh?

Breanna and I had an English exam today, so forgive me if I don't get too wordy, we kind of used up all of our language skills this afternoon. But, I'll try my best to get a good blog on the go for a little bit longer.

The exam was pretty good! Everybody I talked to thought so as well, so hopefully we all did okay. Both essays were choices, so for my first choice, I chose to do the benefits of maintaining a good balance between societies needs and the preservation of the environment. For the second essay, I told the story of when I jogged across three coves in Newfoundland, because I was lonely. The only way I could talk to Bre was to get to a place with signal, so I did the best I could to get to a place where there was a signal, and that was about 10 km away, at the base of a lighthouse. It was a BEAUTIFUL evening, but I'll be writing an essay over the summer about it, and I'll post it here when I do.

So, I've finally started working on the Little Dude project that I've been talking about for ages. I've been saying I'd start it for ages, but I made myself post the claim everywhere, and now I've got to back it up, because a bunch of people have read it. Thank god for forceful reinforcement, eh?

Anyways, I suppose I'm off to bed. I want to wake up early so I can talk to Bre and wish her good luck before her exam tomorrow morning! Good night all!

Waldon here, and for anybody whom stuck around long enough, this post will be a gratifying message; I'll be doing daily blogs for the next 5 days, at least. You see, today is the first free day we've gotten in ages. I just finished my final essay/paper for my English course (As did Bre) just after dinner today (Bre finished before dinner xD).

So, now that I don't have some intense workload hanging over my head like a liturgical sword of Damocles, I can do a blog before bed without worrying that I'm going to collapse from exhaustion halfway between one sentence and the next.

So! I've picked up Skyrim again. In the span of about 5 days, I've gotten almost every location discovered, killed enough dragons to have finally gotten that achievement, and reached level 22. Now, that may not seem like much, but I'm a compulsive player. I get sidetracked so easily it's almost criminal. This is a GREAT runthrough for me. :P (That's also why Fallout is one of my favorite series of all time; getting sidetracked is encouraged. xD)

I found about 22 CD's under the TV in the living room that mom and dad never told me they had. It turns out that they used to love what's now classic rock and some of the more eclectic music choices of the 70s and 80s, which I love, and I am now uploading all of them to iTunes. Although, a few of them are CD's that I thought I had lost, but I guess mom just moved them when she found them around. And never told me. xD

So, I don't know if I should tell you which of my old CD's were found, simply for the sake of my dignity. They're pretty... damning. Like, "Pokemon World,""Beyblade: Let it Rip," and some odd Japanese Pokemon CD. I mean, what? I didn't say anything. Nothing embarrassing here.

I've finished uploading about 11 of them, and I want to have most of them done by tomorrow. :P

So I suppose I'm done for now, I'm getting a little sleepy. Good night all!

Whoa! First line is the topic. I'm being new and innovative!

Yeah! So, it's been really warm the past couple days, and I'm loving it. The snow is finally melting and I'm able to walk on pavement again. :P We've been wading through about 8 feet of snow for the past 2 months, so it's good to see some heat again.

I bought the game Dark Souls the other week. It's INTENSE. The tagline of the game is "Prepare to die." And that's seriously what it is. You just try and use a combination of brute force, skill and trickery to make it to various checkpoints of the game without dying. When you die, you have to start over at the last checkpoint. It's very easy to die. :P

So, Bre was over this evening, and we just sat there and vegetated while listening to music. You have NO idea how awesome that is. Unless, of course, you're like me. In which case you understand completely and are envious of me right now. I found an app that lets me control my iTunes from my phone, so we just sat on my bed and let the music lull us into a nearly rock-like level of mental activity.

We had classes all day today, and in about 3 of my 5 classes, something was due. As well, there was a bio test for a small mark today. It was... meh. :P

Yesterday we didn't have classes, because... the roof of our cafeteria flooded. Now, if you're anything like me, you just paused so you could comprehend that. Yes, I really did mean it. Our ROOF flooded. The water pipe above the mens washroom busted, and the water gathered up in the ceiling crawlspace until... well, it couldn't fit. :P So, the cafeteria is still being renovated for use again. Hopefully it'll be up soon, because in order to leave campus to get food, I've got to pack up all my stuff and go, and that usually means that I can't get any work done during that period. So, I tend to go without a meal instead. xD

So, without further adieu, I am saying goodnight!
It was a pleasure speaking to you all again, and I thank every one of you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with the blog and reading what we have to say. :)
-Waldon

...you get so caught up in something that you enjoy that time flies without you noticing? :P

Waldon here! I actually meant to write this almost two hours ago. But! Then I found a new webcomic! :P It's called "Magellan" xD IT'S ABOUT SUPERHEROES. :D I love superheroes xD They're so corny that they're great. Also, gender inequality in hero comics is not restrained just to women. There's enough to go around. Sure, women wear all the skimpy clothing and become horrendous sex symbols, but have you SEEN Superman (Or Batman with his terrifying bat-nips from Batman and Robin?) How can a regular guy compete with a bod like that? Or that awe-inspiring coif he's been stylin' since his inception way back when?

Also. We have Aquaman.

Aquaman.

He can talk to fish.

That's just.. It's... No.

No more Aquaman, guys.

I think I heard the other day that (did you know this?) they're making an Aquaman comic where he's -wait for it!- in the DESERT. Yes. From what I've heard, the whole issue is how he reacts in the desert. From what I gather, he's kind of useless. :P

Today! Bre and I have been in school Nothing unusual. :P She had a math test today :( It was rough, from what I can tell. :S The lab ended up being about 20 minutes later than normal because nearly everybody in our chem class is in Bre's math class xD I had a pretty easy day, actually. Wednesdays usually are pretty slack for me. I love it. :P

Anyway, I suppose I'm done for the night! I have a Bio Lab Midterm tomorrow night, and I want to be ready for it (I.e. more than 5 hours of sleep). Good night all!
-Waldon

Waldon here! I know we don't update much, but there's always so much work to do be done, and sleep kind of needs to happen somewhat regularly or bad stuff starts to happen. :P

Anyways! On to the blog!

I started playing Pokemon again the other day. I think my fingers have almost melted to the DS. I LOVE POKEMON. I'm such a nerd. In fact, I just connected my DS to my Wi-Fi for the first time. I'm pretty pumped. I've got a team of dragons! : D And soon I'll be borrowing Bre's DS so that I can get a Charizard from my Heartgold! And a bunch of other dragons! : D I love dragons. xD

Man, I feel like I'm 10 and ranting to all the other kids in the cafeteria. See? This is why I should stop waiting until 1 in the morning to do this. xD

So, this week. Where should I start?

Well, firstly...

There is never an end to the work that needs to be done. Seriously.

Today was Friday, and I was informed that on Monday we'll be having a test in my Stats class that's worth 20% or so, and a math assignment is due, and a Bio lab is due, and... Something else? I can't remember that last bit...

Oh well, it'll come to me.

This week I had a bio lab that I loved. xD We looked at small protists. I was studying Paramecium. It was cool. :P Those little guys move REALLY FAST. We had to dope them up on methyll cellulose and hope they slowed down enough to watch them up close. :P

Also! I started playing Pokemon Yellow again too, and whilst doing research on Gyarados I discovered that it's name in beta was "Skulkraken." I can't believe they never stuck with that name. If I ever have a child, and that child is male, I will name him "Skulkraken" because the name Skulkraken Best would sound awesome on the top of a list for any new teacher during the school year.

Also, it inspires fear the hearts of all those whom oppose him, and isn't that what a father really wants?

So, tonight I went down to Bre's while she was babysitting, and that was fun :) We watched a lot of "1000 Ways to Die" after the kids went to bed. :P Being around a crowd of kids scare me. O_o I mean, I'm terrified of people regularly, but kids get all close and stuff. No joke, I'm terrified of my own species... That's kind of sad. But! I'm good with animals! : D

Yeah, so, this rambling, very tired blog is now done. It probably has very little coherence, or entertainment value (Aside from me sounding like a child.)

So! Good night all!
-Waldon

It's been three day's since something has been posted, but to me, I only forgot to do the blog LAST night. Whoa. Science.

Anyways! I've got good news!

I got a new hat! It's so awesome, that when I put it on my head nearly exploded. All true, I swear. It's one of those deerstalker hats with the flaps you can button on top or let loose to warm the side of your face. Made with real rabbit. Ahh.. I love the smell of burning PETA's in the morning. (See what I did there?)

Oh, by the way. This is Waldon.

So! This morning I woke up around 10 30 or so, played skyrim, drank copious amounts of tea, and then ate dinner. Which consisted of three hotdogs and a chili dog. :P Then, after dinner, Bre and I went out out shopping (Which is when I bought the hat and my new pump case AKA cell phone case.) and getting groceries for her dad's house.

After supper we hung out and watched Daredevil with Ben Affleck. After watching it again, I can truthfully say I'm fairly amazed that I didn't realize how fake it looked when I was younger. Then I played with my iPhone dragons and went to bed. :P Oh yeah! I GOT A MOON DRAGON! For those of you that do not play Dragonvale, that means nothing to you. For those that do, you understand the excitement of 214g/min at a 750000g cap.

So! I guess I'm gone to bed! Good night all!
-Waldon

Waldon here, and tonight's title is a serious question. AM I the only one? :O

Yeah, so Bre and I registered for our next semester of College today, and I've got the great fortune of having the most awkwardly blocked up schedule in the school, I swear to god. I think I only have one two hour break between classes (meaning that I have very few class blocks that don't include at least three hour long classes in a row) the whole week? Also, I can only get to the cafeteria three times in a week, meaning I'll either have to go without dinner or get something from somewhere (meaning greater expenses >.<) and Bre and I can only eat dinner together once a week now. :(

ANYWAY!

Bre and I both registered, got that over with, and now I'm writing the blog after a wonderful afternoon with Bre where we spent an hour or two looking around for an agenda for her, and then I got to introduce her to the miracle that is Fable II. :P I would show her Fable III, but for some reason my disk is scratched up and it won't play. :S So I'll try and find one of those CD repair kits around and see if that works. xD

After supper, I started getting ready for school tomorrow (I.e. reading webcomics and sketching a little xD) I actually think Bre did pretty much the same thing? xD We've been on Skype together for 3 hours 32 minutes and 18 seconds, as of this sentence. :P So yeah, it's been a good night. :)

Anyway! I'm back to drawing now! Good night all!
-Waldon

... And that must be how anyone who reads this feels. I'd apologize but I'm not sorry! Hehe! Junior and I are busy people so, sometimes, we don't have time to do this. Right now, Sandra and Robyn are over and Junior is talking to them about artsy fartsy stuff, so this is when I take my leave. To the blog!

First of all, happy new year everyone! I hope 2011 was good to you all, and I hope 2012 doesn't bring about the end of the world! I'm sure we all like living?

Last night, Junior and I watched the Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring and the first half of the Two Towers. Sadly, we couldn't finish the second half because it was 2 in the morning! I was devastated. I love LOTR. Like, at one point, I silenced Junior so that I could hear Aragorn speak. Don't mess with my LOTR. Seriously. We also polished off a large pizza and a half, several bottles of water, a 2L bottle of cream soda (that one was all Junior), and a little bit of chocolate.

Gunner was scared all night because of the fireworks that were going off. He's a scaredy cat. He curled up on the couch with Junior and I and he lay down on my stomach.

OH MY GOSH! THIS IS THE FIRST BLOG OF 2012! We don't have any New Year's resolutions! Gah!

Today, I woke up really late... And stayed in bed even longer. I got a shower. Umm... Thomas tore out the stairs so I was stranded downstairs for about an hour? Fun times. I tried to play the Wii but it didn't work. Why? Someone had played on my Mario account a while ago so I had to start over. I'm sick of starting over. Then! The My Sims Kingdom game wouldn't work. Why? I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I gave up.

This afternoon, I hung out with Junior. We just chilled. For supper, Mom and co. and I went to Thomas' cousins' house for supper. It was nice. This evening, Cody, Gladdale, Sandra, Robyn, Junior, and I hung out at Junior's house. Sandra, Robyn, Junior, and I are left. It's nice. :)

I'm not feeling well, so I'm going to go now.. Happy 2012 everyone! :)
