Waldon here! I'm finally finished my first year of College! It was fun while it lasted. :P But, now I'm on to new pastures, so to speak. I need to find a job until the end of August. Bre MIGHT be going to work instead of taking classes during intercession, so I'll kind of be spending a lot more time by myself for the next three weeks than I thought I'd be. Which kind of sucks, but it's most definitely a good thing for Bre, and that's awesome. :)

I hope we get a few weeks of down time without a job or class, or much stress together before the end of the summer though... :(

Anyways, I told you all yesterday that I'd tell you the story about what happened yesterday! So here it is!

When I was trying to go to my math exam yesterday morning, my truck had literally frozen into the driveway. I had to take the giant ice pick (Read: Large, spear-like chunk of metal) out of the shed and hack my truck out. By now I had already scraped all the ice and snow from the freezing rain the night before off the window, and by this time, there were only 5 minutes left until my exam, so I got to school as fast as I could.

I sprinted to the classroom when I reached the school, and made it before the exam actually started, but I still had to fill out the information on the front and explain to the "Invigilator" (What a word, eh? It means the person who watches you work.) where I was. By now I was 10 minutes behind? So I got to working as fast as I could.

After half an hour, the invigilator looked up, and then loudly proclaimed she wasn't feeling well, then promptly grabbed the podium she was standing next to and nearly fell unconscious. So, we were all rushing around trying to find her some water, which she was asking for, while one of us went to get help. Finally, we got her some water, and the school supervisor showed up, and had one of the nurses from the nursing classes down the hall show up and look her over. Then, the nurse lead the invigilator out into the hall, and I haven't seen or heard of her since, not even from her son.

This had all happened in the middle of our exam, and it was so unexpected that we were all in a kind of daze. Finally, the school supervisor showed up, and took over the exam monitoring.

BUT. Because we were following the schedule set by MUN and not CNA (Our school), we couldn't get more than a 15 minute extension at the end of our exam period. So we lost a total of 15 to 20 minutes in total, on top of my already lost 10 minutes. It was rough. But, to my credit, I finished a large portion of the exam, and only had to leave out two questions.

So, I just got back from spending all day with Bre. :) Well, we were doing stuff around town, but you know. I had my biology exam first thing in the morning, and so as soon as I was done, I headed over to her house, and I was with her pretty much ever since. We watched "Community" (Absolutely hilarious, btw.) for a few hours, and we shovelled some of her driveway, and after supper we watched a couple movies lol, it was fun! :)

Alright, well, I'm exhausted. And I want to go to bed. So I will. :P Good night all!

Ah, Math. It makes for a lovely title. For those of you who may not know, the title actually DOES make sense. It's something that we're doing at the moment in Calculus II called integration by parts... Basically, you have a little squiggly line with a bunch of x's and arcs and trig functions and lns and dxs next to it, and you have to find the original function. It's fun. We have a test on it tomorrow, so I need to get back to studying it soon.

SPEAKING OF TESTS, we have a bunch of stuff to do this week! So much stuff, in fact, that it needs to be put in a list.

Stuff that needs to be done/will happen this week:

- Math test tomorrow: not too bad. I'm pretty good at Math, so I'm not overly worried about the outcome of the test.

- Chem quiz on Wednesday: hm. A little worried, but not too much. I'm more worried about Junior and his... Difficulties with Chem.

- Chem pre-lab due Wednesday: I need to check qith Rami about something tomorrow, then I should be able to do everything no problem?

- English presentation on Wednesday: honestly, this came as a bit or a surprise for all of us. On Friday, Tony asked us to start writing our draft for our essay (we had to analyze an ad of some sort). We knew that we would eventually have to make a little presentation of it, sure, but today's news came as a surprise. Apparently, we need to do the presentation on Wednesday. Of course, very few (I won't say the entire class) had anything done, and I have a feeling that most will be in a panic soon.

- Physics test on Thursday: well. We had a test last Tuesday, but we did so horribly on one question that Ranjan took it out of the marking and told us that we'd have another test on the SAME MATERIAL this Thursday. He's going to be out of town from tomorrow to Thursday, so Rami will be watching us. :p

- Psych test Thursday: we all knew this was coming. Michelle told us at the beginning of the semester when all of our tests would be. This is just unfortunate.

- Physics assignment due Thursday: this is just the online stuff... No biggy.

- Physics assignment due Friday: what is this, you may ask? A typo? Am I going crazy? No. It's not a typo. I'm not crazy. We have a second Physics assignment that's due on Friday when Ranjan comes back. Yay.

And finally,

- English essay due Friday: sigh. Another one.

Yeah. We're going to have a busy week, but that's okay! I'll get everything done with enough time to help Junior out, haha. On the plus side, I got to work on the English presentation with Junior tonight! We're partners and, so far, it's working out well. I haven't had a panic attack yet. Tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to study Psych with Cody for a bit, before I go to the airport with Nan. She's going out of town for a week to see my cousin's song release. It's exciting! Then, tomorrow night, Junior and I will be working on our English. Again.

Well. This was longer than I had anticipated. I need to go study! Good night!

- Bre :)

P.S. The cafeteria is STILL closed. I doubt it'll be open tomorrow. David and I have been doing Tim Horton's runs for the past couple of days, and I don't think I can handle anymore Tim's! xD

Good evening! This is going to be a SUPER short post tonight because - as you may have guessed - I have a touch of a migraine. Mmhmm. It sucks. Royally. It came about at around 3 or so this afternoon, and I've been pretty much useless ever since. I haven't done ANY homework tonight. Ugh. Rami is going to be so disappointed...

Okay, I can't write any more. Good night!

- Bre :)

p.s. I did quite well on my math test. ;)

... BUT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE'S SAYING. So! You get no lyric. :P

Ah, on to some music that I can understand. I love me some Breaking Benjamin. At the moment, Junior and I are chilling out in my room, listening to music and doing homework. Well, I'M doing homework. Junior is just sitting there, looking good - as usual. :P  He said that he didn't want to do anything tonight, so he's taking a break. I can't take a break because I have an assignment due tomorrow that I have to do. Oh, he has one due tomorrow as well but he's done, so he doesn't need to worry about it.

What's been going on lately? Lots and lots and lots, mmhmm. We've been really busy. When Rami said that this semester would move faster than the last one, I believed him, sure; however, I didn't think it would move THIS fast. It's crazy! We've done four chapters in Physics, two in Psych, three in Chem, and... Well... A lot in Math. Junior just told me that they've done eight units in Bio. Holy. Crap.

Speaking of Rami! He got a spiffy looking hair cut! : 3

Okay. I cannot tell a lie. I have NOTHING else to say right now. Like, NOTHING. I'm drawing a blank. Nothing is -

WAIT! ERIC IS NEW. So. The new guy in the help centre at school is awesome. He has a major in Math and a minor in Physics. His job is to stay in the help centre and help people (obviously) with Math and Physics. I must say, he's doing a fine job. He's helped me a bunch the past few weeks. My last physics assignment was really hard, BUT HE GOT ME THROUGH IT. OH! Eric also dabbles in writing. He prints me off one of his stories almost everyday! It's wonderful! They're wonderful! I read them, then give them back. I'm too shy to ask for a copy of them. I'd feel silly! He can also juggle! He tried to teach me... But it didn't work too well. :P

Okay! That's enough of me for tonight. I suppose I'll go do my next Physics assignment. Good night!

- Bre :)

Waldon here! I know we don't update much, but there's always so much work to do be done, and sleep kind of needs to happen somewhat regularly or bad stuff starts to happen. :P

Anyways! On to the blog!

I started playing Pokemon again the other day. I think my fingers have almost melted to the DS. I LOVE POKEMON. I'm such a nerd. In fact, I just connected my DS to my Wi-Fi for the first time. I'm pretty pumped. I've got a team of dragons! : D And soon I'll be borrowing Bre's DS so that I can get a Charizard from my Heartgold! And a bunch of other dragons! : D I love dragons. xD

Man, I feel like I'm 10 and ranting to all the other kids in the cafeteria. See? This is why I should stop waiting until 1 in the morning to do this. xD

So, this week. Where should I start?

Well, firstly...

There is never an end to the work that needs to be done. Seriously.

Today was Friday, and I was informed that on Monday we'll be having a test in my Stats class that's worth 20% or so, and a math assignment is due, and a Bio lab is due, and... Something else? I can't remember that last bit...

Oh well, it'll come to me.

This week I had a bio lab that I loved. xD We looked at small protists. I was studying Paramecium. It was cool. :P Those little guys move REALLY FAST. We had to dope them up on methyll cellulose and hope they slowed down enough to watch them up close. :P

Also! I started playing Pokemon Yellow again too, and whilst doing research on Gyarados I discovered that it's name in beta was "Skulkraken." I can't believe they never stuck with that name. If I ever have a child, and that child is male, I will name him "Skulkraken" because the name Skulkraken Best would sound awesome on the top of a list for any new teacher during the school year.

Also, it inspires fear the hearts of all those whom oppose him, and isn't that what a father really wants?

So, tonight I went down to Bre's while she was babysitting, and that was fun :) We watched a lot of "1000 Ways to Die" after the kids went to bed. :P Being around a crowd of kids scare me. O_o I mean, I'm terrified of people regularly, but kids get all close and stuff. No joke, I'm terrified of my own species... That's kind of sad. But! I'm good with animals! : D

Yeah, so, this rambling, very tired blog is now done. It probably has very little coherence, or entertainment value (Aside from me sounding like a child.)

So! Good night all!
-Waldon

I'm pretty sure the title is a run-on sentence. Hm. I should probably change that. Tony would have an aneurysm if he read it, haha.

I have NO apology for not writing the blog. I have been busy. Period. "Doing what?" you may ask. Well, EVERYTHING. School is intense this semester. I come home every single day with a headache. Poor Junior is a tad stressed as well. Chem is a little bit harder this semester.. :(

Well. I need to make this quick because I'm about to fall asleep. The movie was good last night! (See Junior's last post). My weekend was good! I got a hair cut! I'm so excited! SO EXCITED. It's a little below my chin. Only a little.

And... I think I'm done. I'll write a better one later. I'll write it on my phone when I'm not busy and post it when I have a chance... That sounds like a plan.

Good night! :)

- Bre :)

Hello! I'm having trouble expressing my thoughts today so please bear with me. Nothing I'm thinking actually makes sense. It's taken me about five minutes to write this short paragraph. Something is truly wrong with me. Normally, I can find an idea and find SOMETHING to write but today... Nope, it's not really working.

I guess I'll start with the title? It's the complete truth. No matter where I've plunked myself down today, I haven't been able to get comfortable. Classroom chairs? Nope. Couch in the library? Not a chance. My chair at my desk (that I'm sitting on right now)? Don't even get me started. It's not normally this bad! I think I'm just getting antsy - you know, stir crazy. I feel like I haven't been outside for ages so I keep moving around. This makes it very difficult to settle down in one sitting positions. Tonight I'm going for a walk with Junior and his dog so -

SPEAKING OF DIFFICULT! Today was our first day of school after the Christmas break. We went into English class this morning, said good morning to Tony, and then he proceeded to explain the course to us. Well. It's about HOW to write, sentence structure, analyzing texts, etc. Even he told us that this should have been done before our last course. Most of us had very little knowledge of grammar or punctuation, which put us at a disadvantage. In high school, the only course to do that involves grammar is "Writing." We don't do ANYTHING in English about grammar. They expect us to know it. All of it. It just ticks me off. I just really pity Tony because he has to correct all of our work.

On the plus side today, I think I actually understand what we're doing in Physics! Yay! :)

OH! Junior is on the way to get me now. I need to go get ready. And so ends another crappy blog post! Good night!

- Bre :)

Holy. Cow. I didn't really realize that today's the 20th of October until just then. Wow. That's actually kind of scary. This semester is going by so quickly! I think it feels that way because we haven't actually stopped working. It's steady-go ALL THE TIME. Assignment after assignment after test after lab after quiz after assignment. All kinds of fun stuff.

I also just realized that I haven't written the blog in DAYS. My goodness. What a night for realizations!

HOLY CRAP, I can't write a proper blog tonight because Rosemary said the Math assignment is due tomorrow and I have most of it to do and if I don't do it she'll eviscerate me! Good night! I promise a better blog another day!

- Bre :)

Happy Belated Thankgiving, first of all! It's been a bad few days for posts so we didn't get to say it! I hope eveyone gained five pounds. :)

Just a quick recap: this weekend was a long weekend. It wasn't long enough. I finished several assignments, but not all of them. Poor Junior was stressed out. I THINK I babysat twice? But I don't really remember. The entire weekend felt hectic even though nothing really went on.

Because we had yesterday (Monday) off, today felt like Monday. It was AWFUL. Terrible! I kept thinking that I had school until 4:30, when in reality I was out at 2:30. Such confusion! On the plus side, I think I got everything done that needed to be done? Math assignment passed in, Chem question passed in, Chem lab passed in, Chem pre-lab passed in a day early, Physics question passed in, and English story read. Not too shabby. It's a good thing that I read the English story last night! Tony popped a quiz on us in today's class. Five questions - four multiple choice and a VERY short short answer - to see if we had actually read the story. I think I'll do okay?

Junior's been having a rough day. He got two tests back and had to pass in a bunch of stuff. He's been so stressed out! I haven't been able to help at all. SO! On the way home this evening (Britt and I picked up Dad's truck and brought it back to his house because he's out of town), I asked Mom to do through Tim Horton's drive thru to pick up something for Junior. I gave her the money and she got the stuff (that sounds awful!), then we went by the school so that I could put it in Junior's truck. He had a lab until 7:30. I know it didn't help him much, but I hope the thought made him feel a little better?

Oh yeah, after school today, I went to the optometrist. I've been having a lot of headaches lately and I wanted to know if it was because of my glasses perscription or the fluorescent lights at school. It turns out that my vision has changed only slightly in my right eye. This change is not enough to be giving me headaches. Great.

This evening has been grand! I watched Star Trek Voyager and drank some tea after supper. That was simply the best form of procrastination that I've found to date. Sadly, at the end of the show, it was the end of the show. That makes sense, right? I then had to do my Physics assignment. I got most of it done! I just have to ask about a couple of things tomorrow. After this I have to do my essay. . .

Okay, enough procrastination! I'll do my essay now.

Hey! I'm not even going to apologize for my lack of posts because its getting old. You can only do it so much before it means nothing. And so! Junior and i have been really busy lately and we haven't had time to do much other than school work. It kind of REALLY sucks.

Oh! Although I'm writing this post, I'm not actually writing it. At the moment, I'm typing this in an email to Junior for him to post for me. I don't want to turn my computer on and I think he already has his out, so this just might work.

This week has been really hectic. I had three tests, two labs, and several assignments due. I did well on my physics test! I was elated! Yes, elated. Tony used that word today and it stuck with me. I thought I could go through today without getting any homework to do over the long weekend, but i was wrong! Today I was assigned a LOT of work. Oh well. Junior and I are going to get together sometime to do it all.

Tonight I babysat Brooke and Bryton. We went to Tim Horton's, where we met up with Junior. It was okay. Otherwise, nothing has really happened today.

Oh! A big "thank you" to Junior for posting this for me! <3

I think I need to stop writing now because I'm falling asleep. Good night!
