I thought it was midnight. Silly Waldon. Clocks are used to tell time.

So I've had a busy couple of days, I've participated in my second dance class of this school year, had my first mental destruction from math and accidentally scared the crap out of a little girl while walking around.

Yeah, I'm a dancer, what of it?

I don't understand so many people when they say that dancing is gay. Why would it be gay? Let me ask you something: What do you other guys do on your Tuesday nights? Video games? Walking the dog? Homework? Hanging out with friends? I got you ALL beat. I go to the dance class, and lift girls in tight clothing and let them climb over me. Suckers.

Our math class had a test today, and I'm sure I bombed it. I cant have gotten above 65, its impossible. Math is a subject I can't get behind. I mean, in reality, when you throw a ball you don't NEED to figure out where the ball is going to land, you can just watch and SEE where it lands. It's a simple concept. I also don't understand why we need to make everything so COMPLICATED! We had to make a "Quadratic equation" to find how long the sides would be with 2 equal sided squares if you had 60 cm of rope. Why not just cut the rope in half, and then divide those two halves into 4? It makes SO MUCH SENSE. Can't be practical.

So about scaring that little girl. I was walking down the street a couple nights ago, and I stepped into the streetlight in front of a house. There was a little girl playing in the front yard, doing her thing, she looks up, sees me, and SCREAMS! It was so loud! Why? Am I that terrifying? It baffles me. She was inside in 5 seconds flat. It was a confusing night, and I can, sadly, recount several times where similar events have occurred. Oh well, I guess I'm a monster.

Well, I guess that about covers the interesting quotient of my night.

-WALDON. IN CAPITALS BECAUSE I CAN.

School is hectic. Period. I think the teachers sit around in the staff room and plot how they’ll torture us in the weeks to follow. We’ve all had so much to do lately, it’s ridiculous.

What I really don’t like about school is the group projects. If I could avoid them completely, I would. I prefer working alone. We have to do a Macbeth video for English and I’m in a group of 5. FIVE. It’s almost impossible to get all of us together on the same night. "Ooh, I’ve had plans for a whole week and I can’t change them; I have to work; I don’t like working on weekends." Etc. At least I know when I’m by myself, I’ll get the work done. I find it hard to trust others (even friends) with school work. I’m just OCD like that. And paranoid. It’s not good atall.

Junior just finished dance class, so I’ll unload all of my problems on him soon. Poor guy doesn’t even know it’s coming.

What I love about school is the teachers. My teachers are great. Ms. Edmunds is amazing! She does the Art club after school on Tuesdays. I went today and painted a picture of a flower. It looked like a two-year-old’s painting, but I loved it! I ended up giving it to Junior. He liked it, haha. He couldn’t go today because of drama try-outs. Good luck to him! I took the late bus home, too! It was crazy. Thomas had My Chemical Romance going on the CD player. Yeah, the CD player. That bus is the only one that has one. I wish they all did! But then people would fight and argue over the music being played. Sigh. You really can’t win.

Another great thing about school is doing the canteen. Today, Junior and I did most of the work because Nikita was out and Deejay was doing some work that she had missed while being sick. Poor dears. So, we had to sell the WORST food in the entire world - HOT DOGS. ARGH. I really don’t like them. They’re so gross! Like, what’s IN them!? Ew. I can’t even stand the smell. It’s really hard to sell them at school. Junior knows I don’t like to do it, but I do it anyway because I have to. It I didn’t, I wouldn’t be in the canteen. Then I’d have nothing to do. So! I sucked it up, and sold some hot dogs.

Anywho. Back to homework. Both Junior and I have a Math test tomorrow. Darn quadratic functions. If I hear one more word about parabolas, I might cry. I love Math and all, but I had to do basically the same thing in two courses for a month and a half. I kind of need a change.

So this is Waldon here and I've officially spent over 10 hours on a math assignment this weekend. My day's were spent staring at a bunch of white paper and a calculator trying to make the right answers come out. It didn't work.

But I want to forget about that.

I spent a few hours tonight perusing the boards at Something Awful- and an old topic caught my interest. It was dedicated to the creation of pictures and stories based around the paranormal. None of it was real of course, that was the point of the whole board.

But regardless of me knowing that, I still fell prey to the creepiness that the board had to offer in one particular regard;

"The Slender Man"

A creation of pure terror, in my opinion. I knew for a fact what was creepy about it, how it was made, who made it, everything. But I still caught myself a few times over the course of the night looking over my shoulder, or not looking out any windows, thinking there's nothing there, no need to look. . . whereas normally I would look, because I knew there was nothing there.

Normally, something like this wouldn't even phase me. My house seems haunted sometimes. I believe in ghosts. I know several people that can attest to some creepy stuff that happens around my house at times, most without any explanation possible. But this story the thread created actually creeps me out. :P

A tall, thin man. Who appears to have the skin of a suit wearing human man as a disguise, a thin facade instead of what he actually is: A monster. He hides in the crevice between reality and the ether. He silently stalks his victims, children, men, women, everybody. There is no way to escape him. His black holes from empty eyes that stare into your soul, freezing you in place. His face horrid- a  tree-like man that will drag you- kill you- into the dark dimensions that he takes his prey. Who knows where that is? He has branchlike arms, fingers, legs, everything about him is like some sort of stretched out shadow. You find yourself unable to run from him, you just want to walk towards him and his arms. His prey is found sometimes, on- or STUCK on- the branches of tall trees. Their insides, out.

Some kind soul posted a short story that their father wrote in his journal. Said by something that seemed like the Slender Man to the father in a dream brought to him by The Slender Man. From that story, came this;

"'When you fear me, I love you, when you cower, I draw near to protect you, I will always protect you, I will always watch you. Your blindness is my omniscience, your weakness, my omnipotence. Until the day you die. Until the day you die.' I don't hear the words, but they always stick in my head. I'm going to watch over my son. Until the day I die, until the day he dies."

This description of him, the pictures of him, all seemed to strike something in me. I loved it. It was original, it was scary. If I could, I would take every picture of him I could find, and show them to you. Albeit, the pictures show only what he LETS us see, of course.

Okay, I'll stop with this now. I'm getting carried away, and I'm not making much sense of him. If you want to read about the Slender Man, look at the links I included below.

Anyways, that's all from me. Good night, whomever reads this!

The Thread that Started it All: HERE

That’s the sun, by the way. Mr. Rumbolt (my Chem teacher) told us that. I think he was talking about energy changes at the time. Cool stuff, nonetheless. Chem is a fun course.

So. It’s getting late, and I’m tired. Today was so LONG. I ended up at Ryan’s house for almost five hours, working on an English project with he and Russell. In the end, we made some progress and a batch of brownies. They were delicious! Russell left early, so Ryan and I did some more work. The other two in the group couldn’t make it, but oh well. We’ll all do something in the end.

Ohmy. Brittany dyed (some of) her hair blue. It’s great. I told her to dye it purple, but she decided not to. I don’t know why? She loves purple. I love green, personally. I would dye my hair green if I could, but my hair won’t dye properly. :/

NOTHING is on the go. At all. I did homework all day. Yay me.

- Bre :)

The past week, the internet has not been cooperating with me. Every time I try to load a page, it either won’t load or shuts down on me. It’s ridiculous. I have a History project due next week that I’ve been trying to work on since Monday and I haven’t been able to because the internet simply WON’T WORK. Last night, I tried to load a picture. It took five minutes.. To load 3/4 of it. I had to refresh the page. Twice. Then I FINALLY got the picture. Then my internet died. Completely. Last night, I tried several times to log on to MSN, but it wouldn’t work for me. It’s. So. Frustrating.

It’s called "high-speed" for a reason.

Maybe I’m having trouble with it because I’m too far away from the modem thingy? I’m downstairs, while it’s upstairs. Stupid wireless.

On top of all of that, my Chem teacher, Mr. Rumbolt, posts all of his notes online and I can’t access any of them because of the internet. I missed school yesterday morning because of a hospital appointment (ugh. Hospitals scare the crap out of me), thus missing Chem class. Mr. Rumbolt told me that the notes from that class would be posted online. "Sure," I though, "that’s cool. I’ll get those tonight."

Lalala, here I am, minding my own business, when BAM. The internet says, "Oh no, I’m not going to work tonight. You can just screw off" and shuts down on me. I’m sorry, but I have better things to do than wait around for a couple of hours to see if the internet suddenly wants to work. I know there’s nothing I can do about it, but it really SUCKS. It’s such a hindrance.

LATER

The internet is working now! Life is great. My History is done, and I will soon get my notes.

NOTHING has been happening. At all. Tomorrow is Friday (thank goodness!) So I think I’ll see if Daniel wants to do something after school tomorrow. That sounds like a good idea. I hope he’s free!

Still swamped with work. Three assignments are due on Monday. I can’t wait until those are done.

- Bre :)

p.s. Recommend to your friends? Or suggestions? Anything, please.

Hello denizens of the internet. I am Waldon. I bear greetings from the world beyond the screen!

No, really though. This is my first time typing a blog for this website and I admit, it's a little intimidating. I'm not used to typing to people. It feels like I'm supposed to be writing a narrative for English class. Not discussing life and politics and whatnot. xD There is a disturbance in The Force.

So . . . Onto my existence!

Today was a busy day for me, oddly. I started off my day regularly. Waking up, going to school, that sort of thing. But at lunch time today, I was working the canteen with Bre, and our "boss" tells me, out of nowhere, that today will be pizza day.
I hate pizza day.
Its filled with screaming smelly kids with overpowering hormones trying to get their grubby little hands on as much food as possible. I had thought I had escaped that horrid day when Bre and I started this year. We worked it last year, every week. So we thought we were done with it. Wrong. We STILL had to do it.

On the bright side, I did NOT have math homework tonight, and that is a monumental occasion for me. As you may have gathered- Math hurts me. Like garlic to vampires, silver to werewolves, fire to witches and facial expressions to Clint Eastwood, math hurts me.

I also drew a funny little person today. I call him Stachee (Stache-ay) for now. : D Needless to say, Stachee immediately grew an enormous fanbase and I was asked to scan a picture of him on my computer. So I tried, and as it always has, my scanner took the picture and mutilated it with its horrible rendering.

I also had Dance class tonight, that was fun. I love dance, actually. Although we only had 4 guys in the group of about 14? It was pretty rough for a while until we figured to divide the girls among the guys for the evening. Which led to my next revelation . . .

I am out of shape.

Not a single one of those girls could possibly have weighed more than 130 pounds, at max. I could not lift a single one of them above my head! I'm so ashamed of myself right now. I will soon be engaging myself in exercise to rectify the situation.

That will be all! Return to your stations! Ha. I'm a silly person.

As the title suggest, Happy Thanksgiving to all (Canadians)!

It’s 8 am at the moment, and I just woke up. Because it’s Thanksgiving, I have the day off so I’m going to do as much as I possibly can today before school tomorrow. Also, I don’t sleep very well so I might as well get up anyway.

By the looks of it, it’s pretty chilly out today. Cold, gray, blah. To top it all off, I think it rained last night. Hopefully it’ll be nice enough later to go out. I’ve been thinking of taking my siblings for a walk with Cody. (Yeah, I know, it sounds like they’re dogs or something. That’s just how I say it). Brooke and Bryton would LOVE that. They love my friends. I can only hope that I’ll be able to drag Cody out of the house to go for a walk later. I think he said he beat WoW (holy crap. I didn’t know that was possible?) so he has no excuse NOT to go.

So. I went over to Junior’s again yesterday and commandeered the N64 again. That Harvest Moon game is ridiculously fun. I now have five chickens (Ben, Norman, Jeff, Percy, Teddy) and I asked some guy to build me a kitchen, so I can get a wife! Exciting stuff, farming is. I think I’m going to see if Maria will marry me... Her dad is the mayor, so my in-laws would be influential. I’m on the second spring now, so I’m going to sow my crops again. I think I’m going to focus more on animals in the coming year because taking care of the crops takes a lot of effort. Maybe after I get a wife, I’ll plant a bigger field?

OH. I also played Modern Warfare 2 with Scottie last night. It was awesome! But I really sucked at it. He had 1000 points, and I only had 350. I was proud of myself because that’s the most I’ve ever gotten! I suppose I’ll get better with practice? I really can’t aim on games like that. And I’m really jumpy so I shoot at anything that moves. It’s a waste of ammo, but sometimes it works.

Now it’s 8:15, so I should get on the go. I think my brother is awake upstairs. Poor dear sleeps as badly as I do.

- Bre :)

Yeah. Drama llama. This came from my friend, Noelle. She is one of the funniest people I know. Lovely, lovely person. It is used to describe a person who has an excess of drama in their life. I thought, since it included llamas, it would be the perfect thing to name a blog!

So. It’s Saturday night, and I’m blogging. Not out with friends, no. I’m blogging. This is still so foreign to me. Since I went out yesterday and this afternoon, I thought I needed a bit of down time to relax, so I decided to blog. However, Jessica came over for some cake this evening. It was awesome!

Yesterday was incredible. After school, Daniel and I took a drive up to Dome Mountain (a landmark here. It’s not quite a mountain. More like... A hill. With a lookout on it) and got lost along the way. It took a little while to find our way, but we got there in one piece! After that, we went to the animal cemetery to visit our dogs’ graves. That was quite sad. Then, we went to our “usual place.” Also known as, the dock. All we did was listen to music and chat. Well. I did most of the talking, as usual. (As you can probably tell, I like talking. A lot). I love Daniel because he’s just GREAT. Any man who can quote the Lord of the Rings is a man worth loving. :D

THEN, last night was a Tim’s night. Mmhmm, Tim Horton’s. Junior and I met up with Jessica and sat around for about two hours. It was wicked! After that, we went to Junior’s. AND GUESS WHAT I DID. I played Harvest Moon. Then went home.

Today, I went to Junior’s after dinner and played Harvest Moon...  For four hours straight. (O_O)   He should never have shown me that game. I didn’t realize it would be that addictive! My next goal on the game is to find a wife. Gosh. Apparently I have to get a kitchen built before I can get one. Teehee. Who’d have thought THAT? A woman needs a kitchen? Pfft. Never.

Anywho. I’m going to go finish talking to Junior now, and continue enjoying my long weekend. I have time, so I’ll probably do this again tomorrow sometime.

- Bre :)

So. This won’t work for me. Maybe I’ve just reached the word limit? Read the post below this one FIRST, please and thank you. :)

Source of error number 2: I've reached the word limit. Source of error here? There's a word limit.

Oh, Junior drew me a picture today. I love it because it makes me smile just looking at it. As you can see, it’s of him being beaten by the number one. He’s told me about this dream of his in which someone in our Math class beats him with the number one. Yeah, he doesn’t like Math that much. I, on the other hand, LOVE Math. I’m a nerd like that. Honestly, my calculator is one of my best friends. (^^) Junior is really good at English, while I, sadly, am not.

Final thing of the night! I love French class. There’s a possibility that my French teacher, Ms. Shortt (well, Asivak, because she got married), will be bringing in something for us last period tomorrow! It’ll be for Friday afternoon/Thanksgiving. I’m so excited. Starting off a long weekend with a fun class is amazing. Oh, today, this is how French class started:

Ms. Shortt: Sorry Ryan. I don’t have your French test here.
Ryan: Mmmkay. I don’t have my book here.

What an honest bunch. I love French class because there’s only six of us! Ms. Shortt is another one of my amazing teachers this year.

Well. That’s it for now I suppose. Hopefully something will happen this weekend to write about.

Math hurts. But I saved 15% or more on my car insurance by switching to GEICO.

So. I tried to post this blog about ten minutes ago, AAAAND it wouldn't work.

Source of error number 1: The internet connection sucks, which makes the page flicker. Because of this, I can't type properly.

When I'm finished playing Guitar Hero (and sucking horribly), I'll try to do this again and see if it works. Maybe the connection will be better then.

- Bre :/

LATER ON.

The internet is working again! Yay me. Now this just has to be posted before it breaks on me again.

So, NOTHING happened today. It was odd. Usually SOMETHING weird happens that I can chat about. But today, nothing. At all. Well, nothing exciting.

The weather went all weird on us again, though. It went from sunny and nice, to cold and rainy. It's gross. I was soaked walking from the bus to my house. I miss summer. I love autumn, don’t get me wrong. I just love seeing the sun too. It will get steadily darker earlier now until about Christmas. When we get out of school then, it will be dark.

Speaking of school, I’ve been swamped with work this week. Assignments and tests and labs, oh my! Luckily, I have everything done that’s due up until the end of the long weekend. Go me. This weekend, I’ll be able to relax and hopefully game a bit with the guys.

Yeah. I used game as a verb. They’re corrupting me. I’m pretty much addicted to Harvest Moon now, thanks to Junior. Who knew farming could be that much fun? (My horse’s name is Abe, and my dog’s name is Fawkes)! Next, I’ve been told that Fable 2 is a great game by Robyn and Junior, so I’m going to have to try that out. I mostly play video games when I’m at Junior’s. Mostly because the Xbox is on quite a bit.
