My sister is crazy. She must be. At the moment, I'm studying for my Psych test that's on Thursday, so naturally my book is open. Britt came over a few minutes ago and saw a gross picture of an 11-week-old fetus on the page that my book was open to. I then asked Britt for a blog title, and this title is what she gave me. She described the fetus as looking like a baby in an eye. Go figure.

Great. Now she's going to go beat up her computer for not updating. I pity the poor thing. Oh wait! She's learning Japanese now. Maybe I won't have to intervene this time.

So, I don't remember the last time that I blogged. It must have been a while ago. School has been busy lately so I haven't had much time to do anything. When I DO have  time, I'm too tired to do anything so nothing gets done ANYWAY. At the moment I'm multitasking. AND I'M STILL GETTING NOTHING DONE. How frustrating. Junior's at his Bio lab for another little while, so I have no excuse not to work. Fun times.

Yesterday we got a Math assignment, which was due today. We got a second Math assignment yesterday that's due tomorrow. I have a Physics assignment due Thursday or Friday. I have a Psych test Thursday. I have a Math test Friday. A Chem lab tomorrow night, that will be due on Friday. Lastly, I have a Physics test next Tuesday that I really need to study for. This is ridiculous.

Well, I just noticed that there was a picture on my wall that wasn't there when I woke up this morning. Neat. There's this hole in my wall, you see, that exposes the tap for the hose out front. I think it lets in cold air, but I don't know. Anywho! I woke up this morning and the hole was visible. Britt said something a few minutes ago that I didn't really pay attention to. She said that my picture was squish. I just looked over AND THERE WAS A PICTURE ON MY WALL. That's awesome!

All right, that's enough procrastination for me. I need to do some work. Good ... Evening?

Holy. Cow. I didn't really realize that today's the 20th of October until just then. Wow. That's actually kind of scary. This semester is going by so quickly! I think it feels that way because we haven't actually stopped working. It's steady-go ALL THE TIME. Assignment after assignment after test after lab after quiz after assignment. All kinds of fun stuff.

I also just realized that I haven't written the blog in DAYS. My goodness. What a night for realizations!

HOLY CRAP, I can't write a proper blog tonight because Rosemary said the Math assignment is due tomorrow and I have most of it to do and if I don't do it she'll eviscerate me! Good night! I promise a better blog another day!

- Bre :)

Waldon here, and tonight's title is something that I was told once a long time ago and I can't remember who it was who told me. :P If anybody knows, give me a shout? xD

Yeah, so it's late again as you may have noticed, but I've got a lot of homework to do, sadly. I've got to finish a Chem lab tomorrow morning, but I'm too tired to do it now.

I'll be dropping out of physics tomorrow. I feel inadequate. Oh well.

Oh, and I heard today that it's possible to hack into an insulin pump? :S That leaves me open to attack at any time. I'm actually kind of scared of that now. >.> I read that on Cracked. :P It was an interesting read, but then I realized that I have an insulin pump. xD It was a "There's a pack of feral man-eating bears roaming the area in ____? Hey! Cool! That's where I live isn't it? ...Oh. Oh d---." moment. :P

Anyways, I suppose I'm done for the night, I'll have to try and get a full blog up again sometime soon? :S

Good night all!

Good . . . night? Late evening? This time of day confuses me. Well, hello. It's been a while since the last post because Junior and I have been really busy the past few days. School is just mindblowingly time consuming this year it's unreal.

This weekend, my room at my Mom's was painted. It went from being yellow and blue to a minty green. I quite like it. Behind my bookshelf was painted a lovely cream colour. It looks really nice with the others walls green! Friday night and Saturday morning, Mom primed the walls. Britt and  I taped everything off and painted the corners, baseboards, and around the ceiling. Saturday night, the colour was put on. Sunday morning, the final coat of paint was put on. Sunday night, we moved almost everything back into my room! My bed, desk, and book are all back in their proper places but I still have some stuff to go. My CDs are still stuck in a box.

Other than that, nothing spectacular happened except A REALLY COOL MAGIC SHOW SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Britt, Bryton, Junior, and I went. It was grand! I'd go again if I had the chance. Junior said that he'd be able to ecplain all of the magician's tricks but i doidn't want him to. I like magic just the way it is - unexplained. It was so much fun! After the magic show, I went to Dad's with Britt for a while. Junior came over for a little while after supper to get some help with his Chem assignment.

Umm . . . Friday night was fun! We went to see Deejay and Cody at Cody's dad's house. For the most part, we just sat around and talked. I like evenings like that.

Today wasn't a good day. I found out this morning that a friend of mine in Ontario was murdered. Naturally, it's been on my mind and bothering me all day. Mom looked it up on the computer and it turns out it's really true (we heard it on Facebook when we arrived at school). I sent Dad the link to the article. It's absolutely terrible . . . You know how you see stuff like this on the news and think, "Oh, this will never happen to me"? Well, it can.

I think I'll leave it at here for tonight because my head feels like it's going to explode. I really don't feel very well. (><)  Good night!

- Bre :)

... kind of meh.

Waldon here, and I'm really not having that great of a day. I've got to submit my res application for MUN next year within the next day or so, and I'm fairly certain I'm already late, but I'm not going to res without Bre, so I'll wait for her to come over and we can decide.

Today I had a Math, Chem, Bio and English classes. I handed in my Bio lab this morning and I finished my Chem lab this evening, so that'll be in tomorrow morning too. In Chem class we're doing EVERYTHING. I've never done Chem, so even the smallest amount of homework is blowing my mind. >.<

In English Tony was lecturing on critical thinking, which is fun actually. :P

This evening I worked on my Chem lab and a few questions.

What do I need to do tomorrow? I need to wake up early and go to the gym, go to school, get bloodwork done on my spare time and HOPEFULLY make it back to school in time to see Bre during her time off. Lord, I hope I can. I never see her anymore. :(

Bre isn't feeling very well, I think. She hasn't been texting me, and that's incredibly odd for us. So, I figure I'll go to bed now and sleep so I can wake up early enough to work on my legs tomorrow morning. :P

Good night all!

That was a major problem this evening in the lab (the title). Out of seven of us, four (including Junior and I) couldn't get our Bunsen burners to light. For those who don't know what that is, here's a picture:
Picture
(I just got an image from Google, haha. This is pretty close to the ones we used today). They're pretty nifty when they work! You have to connect it to the gas supply, opent the gas inlet (see that little turny thing on the bottom near that hose? Yeah, open that a bit), then light it with the flint lighter (the metal thing in the picture). When you light it, you have to make sure the gas isn't on too much or it will . . . Explode, to put it bluntly. We all found that out today.

Anyway. Everyone at our bench (Hilary, Lianna, Junior, and I) couldn't get our burners to light. We kept trying different flint lighters and everything but nothing would work. Rami, our lab instructor, checked our gas valve. It turns out that it was turned off. Go us and our awesome lab skills! Other than that, everything went fine. Although, my burner was tipping over because it wasn't very balanced. I think the hose was twisted. Rami solved the problem by putting a beaker on one side. Good thing: it worked. Bad thing: if the beaker tipped at all, it would have unbalance the burner and set me on fire. I simply must say that I have great skills. In what? Possibly setting myself on fire.

Other than that, nothing really exciting happened today. I woke up at around 7 or so, and Mom asked me if I wanted to go out for breakfast at eight when the kids went to school. I said yes, naturally! FOOD = <3 . Mom and I went to the airport first then out for breakfast. I was only home for about 15 minutes after that then I had to leave again. Junior had a break at 10:30 and I wanted to play the loving girlfriend part, so I went to Tim Horton's at around 10:10. I got to the school with a French vanilla and a donut for him. He didn't even notice me at first! :O

I stayed in school after that because I didn't want to waste gas going home and going back. Well, Junior and I went to his house for a minute with his truck, so that doesn't count. We both passed in our pre-labs. I just hing out at the school after that because I didn't have a class until 1:30. Fun times. I didn't get home this evening until about 7:45. I didn't get to eat until about 8:15 or so because I did my lab while it was still fresh in my mind. Now, I feel sick because I ate so late. The only reason I ate is because Junior wanted me to. Apparently ten hours without food is bad. (><)

Well, that's it for me. Good night!

- Bre :)

Waldon here, and I want to apologize so much for my lack of blogs the past two nights! I got bogged down with homework, and I forgot all about it! I'm so, so sorry. :(

So, on to the blog! I took three science courses this year, two of which I've never even taken in high school. So, you can tell I'm kind of out of my depth here. But, I'm going to finish the year with these courses. I will.

This week I've had a TON of homework due. I've got a math assignment due sometime., but an actual due date would be too much to ask for so I've been panicking over that. I've got a physics assignment about jobs in the field of physics due by Friday, and a chem test on Friday as well as two Pre-labs, one of which was due today and another tomorrow, an English story to read and 4 pages of physics math practice homework that I needed to finish for today. The teachers will be giving us another assignment soon, I think. >.< I'm actually spending upwards of 7 hours a day in school every day, with no actual breaks during. When I get free hours, I go to the library and work on my Math or Chem. My Math is 15 pages long I think? Oh! And a chem assignment due Monday. Yeah. (>.O)

So, what have I been up to lately?

Nothing really. xD I went to Bre's last night so she could help me with my math. Thank god for that wonderful girl, she showed me how to do a bunch of the assignment and explained each individual question. :) I had a Biology lab this evening until 6 30, so I was in school for 9 hours. From 9 20 this morning.

Friday night Bre wants me to go to the movie with her and Deejay. So I guess I'll be doing that. :P It's called "Crazy Stupid Love"? I haven't even heard of it, but I bet you I know what it's about already. :P I told Bre I'd go if I can complain about it all I want. xD

Now, I guess I'm out of things to talk about? No! Wait! I'm not. :P

Tomorrow morning I'll be waking up around 6 or so to go to the gym for 6 30, I FINALLY have somebody to go to the gym with. My friend Josh will be going with me tomorrow morning for an hour or so. Neither of us could find a partner to go with. We didn't want to go up on our own, that would just be boring. :P

So, now I'm done. Good night all!
-Waldon

That's right, it's me! Bre! I know I'm not as exciting as Junior but he's busy and stressed out at the moment, so I'm taking his place tonight. He forgot about the blog last night (see? Stressed) and offered to do it tonight but I used my scary-girlfriend voice and told him no. If he has a pile of other things on his plate, the least I can do is write this for him. He's done it enough for me! Right? Thought so.

Nothing is really new, to be honest. I did the Chem assignment (due next Monday), I'm still stuck on the Physics assignment (due Friday). . . I'm reviewing Psych? Junior and I have a Chem lab on Wednesday that I'm not looking forward to. We have to write out a pre-lab with all of the procedures, materials, and objectives in it. Rami (the lab guy) said we have to do it to make sure that we actually read it through. Wow.

OH GOOD NEWS. Ranjan moved our Physics class to 12:30 tomorrow instead of 1:30, so I now get out of school at 1:30! But, at 1:30, Junior has a break, so I'm going to spend an hour with him. The poor guy is so stressed out already. It's usually him comforting me but this year it's the other way around. Sure I'm stressed! Don't get me wrong. He's just about ten times worse than me. He just doesnt' show it. Trying to be all manly and stuff, he is.

At the moment, I'm looking through my Psych study guide. It's 1211 pages long. Holy cow. I can't wait to get to chapter two! It's about the central nervous system. We did that in Bio in level two (level three Bio) so it looks pretty familiar!

I think I'm done for tonight. I need to go to bed soon or else I won't make it to Psych tomorrow morning. Good night!

- Bre :)

Waldon here! And with my usual grace and subtle charm and wit I'm going to say I'm tired! Actually, I'm exhausted. But that's not a big deal. I can write a little bit. xD I've actually been writing all night long, I've been trying to finish what is hopefully a good story that after I send it out to the provincial literary competition, I'll have a chance to show all of you!

Seriously though, I've written over 1000 words tonight already. I don't want to write any more. :P

Suffice to say, my fingers are tired. xD

But! Something of importance happened today! Two things, actually, so I'll tell you about them.

Firstly, I got oil for my truck! It turns out that it was so low on oil that the oil gauge was stuck on half full because it couldn't move. Apparently anyway. I'm not a big automotive person. :P But! It did take three entire quarts of 10W-30 to get it up to nearly full!

And after that, Bre came over for an hour or two! It was great! We hadn't seen each other for longer than 10 minutes over a week, and to two people that practically lived together, that's harsh.

Bre worked on her Physics, and I worked on my story. :P

So, I guess I'm gone to sleep now. Good night all! : D
-Waldon

Waldon here, and I offer my sincerest apologies! I missed the blog for the past two nights, and I feel horrible about it! Bre and I just started college a few days ago, and frankly, I've been distracted. That isn't a reason to miss anything thought, I'm sorry.

Now, in other words... The title! The title tonight is by a wonderful band. It's rather indie. You might have heard of it, but I most definitely heard of it first. Iron Maiden. Yeah, didn't think you had. I liked them before they were popular. The song is "Rainmaker", find it if you want to.

Man, I loathe hipster crowds. xD I mean, does it really MATTER if you're bands are obscure? Shouldn't you want your favorite bands to make it large? :P

We got over 410 unique page views. TWICE.

I don't know HOW, but we did. I didn't think anybody even knew about our site, really. :S The only thing we've done differently is the words of wisdom bit, and that obviously isn't it since I've only got two up, as per this post. xD

Anyways... O.o

Yeah, so I'm a college kid now. I don't feel grown up. Do I have to grow up? Nah. I don't think I'm going to. I'm going to stay 5 forever! Wait. Not 5. I'll be 11. Cause when you're 11, you can bike around town and stuff no problem and stay out till dark but you're still young enough to play "Imagination". You all know what game I'm talking about. You all played it at least once. :P

I'm in 5 courses, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Yeah, that's a heavy workload, but I want to show everybody that I'm not just some lump. I know I look it and that gives people a bias about me before they ever meet me. I've had people start asking me a question, and look right in my eyes and stop what they were saying and finish it with, "nah, you wouldn't know anything like THAT, would you?"

There is no greater joy in my heart than being able to look back into the eyes of anybody judging me and prove them wrong. To show them I'm not an idiot.

My name is Waldon Junior Best. I have a firm grasp on Mathematics, Biology, Natural Sciences, Horticulture and I pride myself on my knowledge, assimilation and use of the English vernacular. I enjoy reading long novels more than watching TV, and I prefer to walk the last 10 kilometers than drive it. I'm also an amateur writer and ballet dancer.

Yep. That's a deep-seated grudge right there. How can you tell? xD

ANYWAY. I suppose I should let you all get back to your lives. I really don't understand why you people keep coming back to read this. It's kind of silly, really. Maybe this blog is hypnotic somehow? xD

Alas! I must be off. Good night all!
